OISE is the building next to Tim Horton's near St. George station (on Bloor street)
It will be held from 4 pm - 10 pm, with manly food, manly games, and manly friendships everywhere.
Also, elections and sign-up for AN info session in December.

UTAMA First General Meeting!
FIRST GENERAL MEETING!!!!
As most of you know already, our first general meeting is on Friday September 28th, from 6:00pm~9:00pm (might go on for a bit longer) at SS1087.
That's Sidney Smith, the one after Robarts Library and Ramsay Wright building down St. George.
We will be doing some formal introduction of our group to you guys, watch anime (decided by a survey), eat, etc.
First off, I would like you guys to join our Facebook group, University of Toronto Anime and Manga Association (UTAMA), if you haven't joined already.
We will be making Facebook events, which will be easier to see and be notified.
(Please don't make me type 500 email addresses again D:)
The fee will be $2/meeting, $5/term, or $10/year. Anyone is invited, and you can bring your friends if they have the $2.
For future meetings, there will be 2 rooms booked, one for anime showing and one for board games.
The poll will be held at the Facebook UTAMA group page, so please join our group as it would make your vote count!

There will be a UTAMA General Meeting this Wednesday, April 25th from 6:30pm to 10:00pm!!!
This meeting is very big, as we will be doing raffles, voting and anime watching.
The meeting will be at OISE 2214 (OISE is right next to Tim Horton's near St. George station)
We'll have raffle tickets for everyone (members), but you can purchase more if you want to.
As for the voting, new execs for 2012-2013 year will be voted in (there aren't many execs so it'll be a simple yes or no vote)

April 13th UTAMA Outing!!
To help relieve all the stress from studying for exams, we're having an outing at Toby's again!!
It's going to be on the Friday the 13th (THIS WEEK) from 6:00pm to 10:00pm (might end earlier/later)
It will be at Toby's Famous Eatery like always, which is at 411 College street, near College and Bathurst.
As it is on a Friday, THEY DON'T HAVE WINGS HALF PRICE, UNLIKE LAST TIME
But we hope to see you all there~ ;)

Karaoke!!
We are holding an UTAMA karaoke event on Tuesday April 10th!!
It's from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at BMB Karaoke (which is near Bloor and Bathurst)
For people who haven't been to BMB or have no idea how to get there, people from UTAMA are going together after meeting at the UTAMA office at 5:15pm (21 Sussex Ave).
It will be $5/hour per person and you don't have to stay for the whole 3 hours so no worries guys.
*There are Korean, Japanese and of course English songs so come and try it everyone!

Assassin Meeting (and General Meeting)
When: Wednesday February 1, 2012, 6 - 10 PM
Where: KP 108 (Koffler House)
Everyone who wants to play the Assassin Game MUST COME TO THIS MEETING. We're officially starting the game on Wednesday Feb. 1. If you cannot attend, please contact Cecilia or Kristina!
NOTE: LOCATION IS AT KOFFLER HOUSE: http://map.utoronto.ca/building/145
We will also show Anime if there is time but this is mainly for the Assassin game. The rules of the game will be explained, people will get their target assignment etc.
Basic idea for Assassin game is that everyone is an "assassin" working for a secret organization who will assign you targets for you to "kill". There will be achievements that you can gain and prizes for some of them (example: Last one standing, most #kills, etc.)
For this game, we will add in some twists such as there will be different types of weapons (some better than others), special missions you can try to accomplish for bonus achievements, and many more.
