[Sep 28] UTAMA Autumn Elections and Anime Movie Screening

The Autumn elections will soon descend to grace our association and will occur in Rotman School of Management Building Room L1010 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The following individuals are the candidates to join the executive team for the upcoming school year:

The elections will take place at the beginning of the event, with each candidate giving their one minute speech. Speeches are expected to introduce the candidate, explain why they want to run for the position and what they will do once they have the position. Once every candidate has finished their speech, we will begin the voting process, mark who you wish to elect on the ballots that you will be given. Election results will be announced after the screening of the anime movie. For any candidates who will be unable to attend the event, send your speech to either our gmail or directly to Gilbert, who will read your speech aloud for you in your stead. Any further questions or concerns can be posted in this group or sent directly to Gilbert. Best of luck to everyone!

Furthermore, the anime movie that we will be screening will be decided by a poll that is posted on our main Facebook group.

[Sep 21] UTAMA's Free Karaoke Event

Hey UTAMA, join us on Friday, Sept 21 for some totally free karaoke on Gilbert's PS4 using the Joysound™ app.

Come out to OISE room 5270 at 6:00 PM on Friday, Sept 21 to enjoy a deep selection of anime music, Vocaloid tracks, and whatever else we can dig up in their catalog (I am once again obligated to mention that there is Taylor Swift and Black Rover, from the critically acclaimed series Black Clover™.)

Membership will not be required to attend this event (but feel free to purchase one if you want to anyway)

Come join us in Sidney Smith 1087 from 3-5 PM for the first UTAMA Studio meet of the school year! (❁´▽`❁)*✲ﾟ*

We'll have ice breakers and fun anime drawing games~ This is the perfect opportunity to meet people who share your passion for anime, manga, and art. Feel free to bring your sketchbooks and quietly draw if that's more your speed!

[Sep 14] UTAMA's First 2018-2019 GM

Our exciting first GM of the 2018-2019 school year is set for nest Friday Sep 14 at OISE 2212, doors open at 5pm and the event starts at 6pm o(≧o≦)o

Come join us to socialize and meet fellow UTAMA members, playing some anime themed games, and maybe even win a raffle prize

Our office hours begin on Monday (Sep 10), starting then you can purchase a membership during these hours (or at the GM)

A yearlong membership is $10 while a single semester is $7
If you're unsure about joining a single admission ticket to the Gm will be $2
