[Feb 28] UTAMA Maid (and Butler) Cafe

 UTAMA's very own Maid (and butler) cafe is set for Friday, Feb 28th at 6:10pm-8:10pm at the usual GM location, BL313 (Claude T Bissel). Doors will open at 6 pm! Be sure to come out in support of UTAMA's own lovely maid and butlers! You never know who you might see serving tea at your table

Unlike the previous years where a purchase of tickets is required for entry, our execs have decided to make 2020's maid cafe free of charge for our members! Non-members are definitely welcomed in to our cafe with tickets available for purchase at the door for $2. There will be interactive games at each cozy table, polaroid photo sessions, dance performances prepared by our hard working maids and butlers, as well as some  refreshments served to you!

[Feb 14] UTAMA Intro Cosplay Workshop!

Hello UTAMA! I'll be hosting a super chill introductory cosplay workshop that anyone of any level can attend! It's primarily aimed at beginners interested in trying cosplay, but thanks to our guest speakers Jennifer Li (@strawberrycolacosplay) and Rae Luria (@luirae), even advanced cosplayers can get some solid insight!

We'll be covering costumes, budgeting, foam work (armor), and much more (and we'll also have a bunch of snacks)! Excited to see you there!

[Feb 7] Tamako Love Story Screening

Hey everyone!  It's the month of love, so what better way to be thematic than with a cute anime movie!

UTAMA will be holding a screening of Tamako Love Story this coming Friday, February 7, 6-8 pm, in room RTL 1030 of the Rotman building.  Although it is a sequel to the 2013 anime Tamako Market, you do not need to have seen it to enjoy this movie.  Come by if you're interested and want to watch me cry over my favorite movie of all time!
