[Sept 15] ✩UTAMA's First 2017-2018 General Meeting!!✩

It's finally that time of year again!! School is starting, and that means so is UTAMA, so get ready for our first GM of the 2017-2018 year!!!! Join us on Friday, September 15 in OISE 5250 for a fun-filled night of games, friends, and food!! Ｏ(≧▽≦)Ｏ

Let's get all the business out of the way first -- to get into UTAMA events over the course of the school year, you'll need a membership.

A half-year membership will run you $7 and get you a fall membership card
A full-year membership will run you $10 and get you both semesters' membership cards AND a cute keychain

You can purchase your membership during office hours to skip the line, or at the GM itself. Office hours are posted on the home page of this website and our office is located in 21 Sussex Ave., room 532! Membership benefits include access to all UTAMA events (GMs, outings, screenings, etc.) as well as perks like a discounted Anime North 2018 pass!! ╭(๑ ॔ㅂ ਂ ॓)و ̑̑

Note that the GM officially starts at 6, but as the line is sure to be long, we'll be opening the doors at 5:30 so make sure to get there early!!! (ﾉ*ФωФ)ﾉ

Now, some of you who've been a part of UTAMA for a while might be wondering why we're having our GM so early this month. We need to get the word out that UTAMA is looking for new executive members!! The open positions are as follows:

President
Vice President Internal
Vice President External
Secretary
Technical Coordinator

The election will be held on Friday, September 29. Further information on the election is available on the Facebook event page. We'll be repeating everything at the GM and making a separate post in the Facebook group shortly after the GM, so don't worry too much if you plan on running!!!
